What this template does

The Barbie and Raquelle trend is the TikTok slideshow where the top half shows a 3D cartoon doll and the bottom half shows you in the same pose.

What is the Barbie AI Dance trend, and where did it start?

The trend started on TikTok in early October 2026 as photo slideshows. Each slide puts a still of Raquelle, the glamorous brunette rival from the animated web series Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse (2012 to 2015), above a photo of the poster copying her pose, outfit and face.

Photo requirements for Barbie AI Dance

• Strike a pose. The doll copies it exactly: a hand in your hair, a pout, a wink, a phone mirror selfie or a hand on your chin. The pose is the joke of the trend.
• Face the camera in good light. The doll keeps what it can see: your face shape, eye color, skin tone, hair, glasses and piercings.
• Wear the outfit you want on your doll. Your clothes, jewelry and their colors carry over, and so does your background.
• Besties: both faces in view, close together, nobody cut off at the edge.
• Use your own photo, or a photo of a friend who said yes. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Troubleshooting Barbie AI Dance

• What goes wrong — What our prompt does, and what you can do
• --- — ---
• The halves do not line up — Both halves use the same crop, centered on the face and upper body. A waist-up photo lines up best
• The real photo below looks retouched — The prompt asks for your photo exactly as it is, only cropped. Run it again if it drifts
